ShortBook for iPad is an electronic book reader. You can read books of all online formats such as PDF, JPG, etc. You can also find the online books that you want through its powerful search feature. The night reading mode proves to be quite handy as it reduces discomfort for people who suffer from insomnia.

You can even bookmark the pages with the help of Quick Bookmark function. You can download books through a wired or a wireless network such as Wi-Fi. You can change the font style and the font size.

The program also supports dictionaries in XDXF format. Simply tap on the word whose meaning you want to find and then activate the dictionary function. Instantly the meaning of the word will be displayed on the screen. You can then reactivate the reading mode with one touch of the screen. The app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store.

The Elements for iPad is an app that lets you explore the wonders of the universe. The app is available in English version as well as other versions such as Japanese, German and French. You will also be able to experience the beauty of building blocks of our universe, the various elements. The app shows you a periodic table and each element is shown with a rotating motion. You can tap the tin soldier when you want to read about the tin. If you want to read about gold then you have to tap the gold nugget.

The facts and figures of bodies are displayed on the screen and you can tap them to get further details of the current information. You can even rotate the elements on the screen by using your fingers. Each object responds smoothly to your touch and you can even spin them. There are some videos showing videos of experiments done on these elements.
